I’m Lucas Olson. I write spooky fiction, sincere nonfiction, and sloppy poetry.

I don’t believe complex language is necessary to express complex ideas.

Work

Most of my professional writing has been for about art, education, or art education. I have worked as a writing tutor at the college level and helped to run three small literary magazines. I also spent seven years selling fried haddock to tourists while forcefully explaining why they should not feed the seagulls.
